Chairing a high-level meeting during his visit to the area, the chief minister said substandard construction would not be tolerated and directed officials to maintain quality standards in all development schemes.
The deputy commissioner of Dera Bugti and other officials briefed Mr Bugti on ongoing projects and the provision of basic facilities to residents.
The chief minister also inspected an educational institution being constructed to provide modern education to orphaned and underprivileged children. The project will enable hundreds of deserving children from different districts of Balochistan to receive quality education.
“Education is the foundation of social development and a bright future for the younger generation,” Mr Bugti said, adding that the provincial government was taking practical steps to expand educational opportunities for disadvantaged children.
He also visited a sports ground and said providing young people with sports facilities and opportunities for healthy and constructive activities remained among the government’s priorities.
