Indictment of YouTuber Rajab Butt, four others postponed

Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafaryab has deferred the indictment of YouTuber Rajab Butt and four others until August 29 in a private complaint filed by TikToker Ayesha Jutt.

The suspects, including Salman Haider and Maan Dogar, appeared before the court in compliance with summons issued over their failure to join the proceedings.

The court directed all the suspects to submit fresh bail bonds and adjourned the indictment proceedings.

Jutt filed the private complaint in 2025, alleging that she had been sexually assaulted and later blackmailed by the suspects.

She claimed to have evidence supporting her allegations, including WhatsApp conversations, a medical report and her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The suspects have denied the allegations and previously obtained pre-arrest bail from a sessions court.

Jutt approached the court after Nawab Town police discharged the suspects in an FIR registered on similar allegations.
