Pakistani actor and reality show host Adnan Siddiqui is set to reveal the contestants for the fifth season of Tamasha on Saturday at 9pm on ARY Digital.
Siddiqui announced the reveal on Instagram, saying speculation had been circulating on social media for weeks about which celebrities would join the upcoming season.
He joked that YouTubers, bloggers, podcasters and self-described “Tamasha intelligence agencies” had been confidently predicting the contestant lineup, adding that the speculation would end with the official announcement.
In a video accompanying his post, Siddiqui said preparations were underway at the show’s studio and that the new set would be unveiled to the press. He added that the contestants would begin filming the following day.
Earlier, Siddiqui shared a photograph from the revamped set featuring previous Tamasha winners Umer Aalam, Aruba Mirza, Aqeel Yousaf and Saif Ali Khan, alongside ARY Digital CEO Jerjees Seja.
Tamasha is a Pakistani reality television show based on the format of Big Brother. Contestants live together in a house isolated from the outside world while competing in challenges and facing public votes for survival.
The winner of the show receives a cash prize. The fourth season’s winner took home nearly Rs2.5 million following the finale.
