Apple Music has officially become available in Pakistan, 11 years after the music streaming service was launched globally.
Apple updated its list of countries where its media services are available, confirming Pakistan as a supported market for Apple Music.
The service was launched internationally in 2015, initially expanding to more than 100 countries.
Apple Music subscriptions are now available to Pakistani users through the app. The Individual plan, which provides unlimited access for one user, is priced at Rs379 per month, while the Family plan costs Rs649 per month and allows access for multiple users.
Both subscription options include a one-month free trial for new users before automatically renewing on a monthly basis.
However, Apple Music Classical, the company’s separate classical music streaming service, is not currently available in Pakistan.
Apple Music’s entry into Pakistan follows the delayed arrival of other international streaming platforms. Spotify, which launched globally in 2008, became available in Pakistan in 2021.
The launch gives Pakistani music listeners direct access to Apple’s streaming service without having to rely on foreign accounts or change their regional settings.
