A three-member Supreme Court bench, headed by Justice Shahid Wahid and comprising Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, issued the order while hearing Imran Khan’s petition seeking hospitalisation.
The court also directed authorities to facilitate weekly meetings between the former prime minister and his family members.
It further ordered the constitution of a medical board, with Imran’s personal physician and his sister, Dr Uzma Khan, to be included in the process.
The court also instructed Imran’s lawyers and family members not to share his medical reports with the media or use the matter for political purposes.
