Iran’s annual inflation rate has climbed to 66 per cent, according to Iranian media.
Prices of food and beverages rose by 128.1 per cent year-on-year, with the prices of at least eight essential commodities more than doubling over the past 12 months.
The Iranian news agency reported that the country’s monthly inflation rate stood at 3.1 per cent in July.
