Kubra Khan has expressed gratitude to the cast and crew of Doctor Bahu following the conclusion of the drama, saying her nine-month experience on the project left her with lasting memories and appreciation for the team.
In a reel shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Khan posted behind-the-scenes clips from the drama and reflected on the bond she developed with her co-stars and crew members. She said she deliberately chose not to add the drama’s OST to the video, noting that viewers had already heard it frequently.
Reflecting on her time on set, Khan said the project brought a range of emotions beyond those associated with the script. She highlighted the importance of maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere on set, saying a good working environment makes a significant difference to the overall experience.
The actor recalled how quickly the nine months of filming passed, largely because of the fun and camaraderie among the team. She said the cast often found themselves laughing even while shooting emotionally intense scenes.
Rather than describing the cast and crew as a family, Khan compared their relationship to the bonds formed during high school or college. She said the team remained united through difficult circumstances and consistently supported one another on set.
Khan specifically thanked director Mehreen Jabbar, writer Sanam Mehdi Zaryab and director of photography Tayyab Shah for their contributions to the project. She also acknowledged the wider cast and, particularly, the crew for helping create what she described as a positive and memorable working environment.
Concluding her message, Khan said she was unsure whether she would get the opportunity to work with a team like this again but would always remember the experience fondly. She added that Doctor Bahu had set an exceptionally high standard for her future projects.
