The bank’s board, chaired by Mian Mohammad Mansha, approved the financial results and declared a second interim cash dividend of Rs9 per share, bringing the total dividend for 2026 to Rs18 per share.
MCB’s total income rose 6pc year-on-year to Rs93.9bn, driven mainly by net markup income, which increased to Rs75.3bn from Rs71.3bn a year earlier.
Non-markup income grew 7pc to Rs18.7bn, with fee and commission earnings rising 21pc to Rs11.9bn, supported by increased digital banking activity and transaction volumes.
Card-related income rose 13pc, branch banking fees increased 5pc, while consumer banking fee income surged 27pc. Foreign exchange and dividend income contributed Rs4.1bn and Rs2.1bn, respectively.
