The Business Facilitation Centre (BFC) has helped facilitate investments worth Rs6.6 billion during its first year of operation, Federal Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said on Monday.
Reviewing the centre’s one-year performance, the minister said the BFC had recorded a total footfall of 8,554 visitors during the period.
He said the centre’s primary objective was to promote business activity, improve the investment environment and support employment generation across the country.
According to the minister, the BFC received its highest number of applications in December 2025, when 1,288 applications were submitted. This was followed by 1,264 applications in January and 859 in July.
Mr Sheikh said the centre provides investors and businesses with information, guidance and government-related services through a single platform, reducing the need to visit multiple government offices.
He added that the one-window facility was helping businesses save time and simplifying regulatory procedures.
The minister said improving the ease of doing business remained a key government priority, with efforts focused on enabling both domestic and foreign investors to establish and expand their operations in Pakistan more easily.
