hen a critic came for Hania Aamir’s new single, Indian reality star Rakhi Sawant jumped in to defend her “sweetheart.”
It all started when Aamir released her on Wednesday — a message to her haters — as she celebrated her 10th year in the entertainment industry.
And then, a hater came for her, as it turns out.
A social media commentator known as Dr Ejaz was far from impressed with the song. In an titled ‘Hania Aamir’s Pablo Is Simply A Mess,’ he wondered why a celebrity as popular as Aamir would mark such an important career milestone with a track he thought was “bad.”
He said that after 10 years in the entertainment industry, she should’ve aimed for something “bigger.”
His review wasn’t entirely negative, though — the critic singled out one part of the song for praise: Rakhi Sawant’s contribution.
“The best part of the song was Rakhi Sawant,” he pointed out, referring to the outro of the song, which features Sawant telling Aamir not to worry about anything, and encourages her to face her haters like a “lioness”.
“If she weren’t in it, the song would have been completely bland… There’s a bit of life in the song now — thanks to Rakhi Sawant’s lines in it. Otherwise, the song’s video isn’t that enjoyable, the production quality isn’t up to scratch either and the tune of the song isn’t there either,” Waris claimed.
Sawant, however, wasn’t having it. Commenting under Waris’s video, she wrote: “Listen, I love you all but do not say anything to my honey. She’s . Haniya”That’s not the extent of Sawant’s loyalty, either — the Indian media personality has since been posting videos of herself on Instagram with ‘Pablo’ playing in the background.
