sim Azhar is planning a tour of Pakistan as part of his upcoming Asim Ali tour and he’s going to be joined by a very special opening act.
During a visit to the Surtaal Music Academy in Lahore, Azhar in an Instagram post on Tuesday announced — while surrounded by the talented young musicians enrolled there — that they will be performing their first public concert by opening for him on tour.
The singer sang with the kids too, performing renditions of his songs ‘Khabbay Sajjay’ and ‘Jo Tu Na Mila’, with one of the young performers playing the harmonium as accompaniment.
Earlier, the students had extended an invitation to Azhar to visit their academy through a reel in which they performed ‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’ — his popular OST from the drama of the same name.
