ANP, QWP Condemn Kohat Mosque Blast

Political parties have condemned the deadly blast at a mosque in Kohat, expressing concern over the deteriorating security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and calling for stronger measures to protect citizens.

The attack was described as a failure to ensure the safety of worshippers and civilians. The incident also drew condemnation over the targeting of a place of worship, with calls for an end to violence against innocent people.

Concerns were raised over the continued wave of violence across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with several areas of the province facing security challenges.

The provincial government was also criticised for allegedly giving greater attention to political activities and protests while the law and order situation continued to deteriorate.

Political representatives called on the federal and provincial governments to move beyond political differences and adopt a comprehensive and coordinated strategy to address terrorism and improve security in the province.

They also expressed condolences to the families of those killed and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the blast.
