Russia has reported cyberattacks targeting its voting system but has not disclosed details about the nature or scale of the attacks or identified those responsible.
The authorities said the attacks were aimed at disrupting the electoral process. Ukrainian officials have not responded to the accusation, while Ukraine has previously criticised the election process as illegitimate.
The election is being held with participation limited to political parties that support the Russian government. Voting is also taking place in parts of eastern Ukraine that are under Russian occupation.
