Six Saudi citizens were injured after a projectile launched by Yemen’s Houthi militia struck a residential area in Najran on Sunday, damaging three houses and three vehicles, according to Saudi civil defence authorities.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense confirmed that emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene following the incident. Officials said the teams handled the situation in accordance with established emergency procedures.
The directorate strongly condemned attacks targeting civilian areas, describing them as a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
The incident has renewed concerns over the safety of civilians in Saudi Arabia’s border regions amid ongoing tensions involving the Houthi movement.
