Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed holding a summit next month with US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Putin raised the proposal during a telephone conversation with Trump on October 9.
Foreign media reports suggest that Moscow is seeking negotiations on terms favourable to Russia as efforts to resolve the conflict continue.
