Saudi air defense forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by Yemen’s Houthi militia toward the Kingdom’s southern region, the Saudi Defense Ministry said on Monday.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense lifted precautionary warning alerts in Taif, Abha, Najran and Khamis Mushait after the aerial threat had passed.
The alerts had been issued as a precautionary measure amid concerns over the potential threat.
