Hamza, the son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, had largely remained out of the spotlight in provincial politics after the PML-N returned to power and the Punjab chief minister’s office went to his cousin, Maryam Nawaz.
During Thursday’s meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz held detailed discussions with MNAs Saira Afzal Tarar, Jamal Shah Kakar, Hafizur Rehman Dreshak and Murtaza Javed Abbasi, as well as former MNA Khurram Dastgir and former senator Behramand Tangi, on issues faced by their respective constituencies.
The prime minister also chaired a meeting on the PM’s Youth Programme.
