PM Shehbaz, President Zardari call on nation to uphold Holy Prophet’s teachings on Eid Miladun Nabi

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have urged the nation to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), stressing the values of justice, tolerance, harmony and compassion on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi.

In separate messages, the president and prime minister extended greetings to the nation and the Muslim Ummah on the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

President Zardari said society should promote justice and fairness, tolerance, inter-sectarian and interfaith harmony, as well as respect for human dignity.

He said Eid Miladun Nabi served as a reminder of the divine blessing through which humanity received guidance based on faith, justice, mercy and noble character.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan could overcome its economic, social and moral challenges by shaping collective life according to Islamic teachings.

He urged the people to contribute towards building a strong, prosperous, peaceful and welfare-oriented Pakistan.

In a separate post on X, the prime minister said the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) remained a source of guidance for humanity, promoting compassion, justice, tolerance, unity and service to others.

He called on the nation to reflect the teachings of Seeratun Nabi in its character and collective conduct and work towards a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.

Eid Miladun Nabi is observed by Muslims around the world on 12th Rabiul Awwal, the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar, to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
